Art in the Park at Casula Powerhouse!
At Beyond Fun today, we moved our art lesson to the lawns of Casula Powerhouse. Each participant sketched the same scene, highlighting how differently everyone saw it.
Though everyone had the same view, each sketch was unique. Some focused on shapes and structure, others highlighted small details, angles, or natural elements. The session explored perspective and creativity, showing there’s no one way to view the world.
Addison especially enjoyed making art at Casula Powerhouse. The open-air setting encouraged everyone to pause, look closely, and express themselves in a peaceful, inspiring atmosphere.
Sessions like this remind us that creativity is about sharing how we see, not just what we see. It was an enjoyable art experience that fostered self-expression, confidence, and appreciation for one another’s ideas.
