Golden Garlic Cheese Sticks & A Fun Trip to Casula Powerhouse!
Today’s cooking activity at Beyond Fun was a delightful blend of flavour, learning, and laughter! Participants rolled up their sleeves to create crispy garlic-and-cheese puff pastry sticks, a simple yet exciting recipe that fostered teamwork, confidence, and hands-on learning.
From brushing the pastry with garlic butter to sprinkling cheese and shaping each twist, everyone took part in each step with enthusiasm. The kitchen was filled with delicious aromas and proud smiles as the golden sticks came out of the oven, warm, crunchy, and absolutely loved by all!
After enjoying their cooking success, the group headed out for a refreshing excursion to the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. Participants explored the beautiful surroundings, enjoyed the open spaces, and spent quality time together outside the centre. The outing gave them a chance to relax, engage socially, and experience something new in the community.
It was truly a fun-filled day that celebrated skill-building, connection, creativity, and confidence, all the things that make Beyond Fun such a special place.
