Farmyard Fun & Big Smiles: Our Day Out at Calmsley Hill Farm!
On a sun-drenched day perfect for good ol' country fun, the BEYOND FUN CENTRE crew packed up their adventurous spirit and headed to Calmsley Hill City Farm for an unforgettable outing. The smiles started early and grew bigger as we arrived at the sounds of baa-ing sheep, mooing cows, and the friendly neigh of a curious horse.
Joining Natalia, Matt, and Fran were the always-energetic Addison, Melanie, Michelle, Richard, and Sam, each excited to explore, engage, and enjoy everything the farm offered.
From hand-feeding goats to petting fluffy rabbits and watching the piglets play, the farm animals were the stars of the day. It was heartwarming to see the group connect with the animals, especially Addison, who discovered a surprising talent for goat-whispering!
We all hopped aboard for a bumpy, giggly tractor ride through the paddocks. With Richard leading a chorus of "Old MacDonald," we rode through the farmland, waving at kangaroos and soaking in the scenery.
The peaceful farm atmosphere allowed everyone to slow down and enjoy nature. Fran led a quiet moment under a shady tree, during which the crew reflected, laughed, and shared their favourite moments so far.
Before heading home, everyone cooled down with a scoop (or two!) of ice cream. Melanie's choice? Rainbow swirl, of course!
Our visit to Calmsley Hill Farm was more than just a day out; it was a day to connect, grow, and celebrate the joy of shared experiences. Big thanks to our incredible team and crew for making the day full of warmth and wonder.
