There’s something special about the smell of a pie baking in the oven, and today, our Rustic Pie Day filled the room with warmth, laughter, and mouthwatering aromas.
Participants began by chopping up fresh vegetables, each slice adding colour and crunch to our savoury fillings. Whether they chose tender chicken or rich beef, everyone took pride in creating their flavour-packed mix. The sizzle of the stir-fry had the kitchen buzzing with excitement, as we combined meat, veggies, and seasoning into hearty fillings.
Next came the fun part, layering everything into baking trays lined with golden puff pastry sheets. With careful hands, participants spooned their filling into place before topping it all off with more pastry, ready for the oven.
