Mel Turns 23! A Joyful Picnic, Playtime & a Rainbow Surprise!
What better way to celebrate a birthday than with friends, food, fresh air, and a big surprise? That's exactly how we marked Melanie's 23rd Birthday at Beyond Fun!
Our day started with a cheerful picnic under the park shelter. The table was filled with snacks, treats, and smiles. Everyone gathered to enjoy delicious finger foods and share laughs while soaking in the peaceful outdoor vibes.
Next came the games! We kicked things off with a lively game of croquet, Beyond Fun rules, of course, which brought out everyone's playful spirit. As the energy continued, we switched over to badminton, taking full advantage of the open field and cloudy but cool weather. In between, we caught glimpses of kangaroos hopping around in the distance, an Aussie bonus to the day!
As the fun wound down, we made a special stop at Macca's for ice cream, Mel's request and a crowd-pleaser! Back at the centre, the final surprise awaited: a stunning rainbow birthday cake sprinkled with colour and topped with glowing candles. Melanie lit up with excitement as we all sang "Happy Birthday," and she made a wish before blowing out the candles.
