Sweet Success: Caramel Cakes & Card Games at Beyond Fun!
Today’s dessert class at Beyond Fun was an absolute treat, in every sense!
Participants rolled up their sleeves and baked delicious caramel cakes from scratch. To ensure everyone could enjoy a slice, we also created a keto-friendly version using coconut and almond flour. It was a hit!
Michelle, Gunjan, and Shreya went the extra mile by joining a bonus session, where they learned how to make a rich, hot butterscotch sauce, the perfect topping for our cakes. Their teamwork and enthusiasm made them stars of the kitchen!
After lunch, the fun didn’t stop. Jeff introduced everyone to some exciting new card games using his jumbo deck, and it wasn’t long before the whole group joined in. Laughter echoed through the room as everyone embraced the challenge and shared in the joy of play.
To top it all off, everyone packed up their freshly baked cakes to take home, a sweet surprise for family and caregivers. Another fantastic day of learning, connection, and fun at Beyond Fun!
