Brownies, Dangerous Animal Lessons and Creative Progress at Beyond Fun!
Today at Beyond Fun, participants immersed themselves in hands-on cooking, engaging lessons, and imaginative activities, for an energising day that fostered confidence, active involvement, and new skills.
The cooking class had participants craft decadent salted chocolate-hazelnut brownies together. Everyone relished contributing to the process, assisting with preparation and witnessing the brownies take shape. Cooking activities like this foster practical skills, promote teamwork, and allow participants to take pride in their creations.
A special highlight of the day was Liam leading the class with a lesson on dangerous animals. It was fantastic to see a participant step into a teaching role and share knowledge with the group in such a confident and engaging way. Opportunities like this help build leadership, communication and self-confidence while encouraging everyone to learn from one another in a supportive environment.
Sariah dedicated time to advancing her art, demonstrating remarkable creativity, persistence, and focus. It was wonderful to witness her evolving ideas and self-expression through art, with each stage reflecting her dedication and vision.
At Beyond Fun, every activity is an opportunity for participants to build confidence, independence and connection in ways that are enjoyable and meaningful. Today was a great example of how cooking, peer-led learning, and creative projects can come together to create a fun and rewarding day for everyone.
