Building Sweet Memories: Gingerbread Cottage Day at Beyond Fun!
The centre smelled like Christmas, and the energy was festive! Our gingerbread cottage lesson was a hands-on activity that brought out the best in everyone.
Participants worked step by step to build their cottages from scratch, demonstrating excellent listening skills, patience, and self-control throughout the session. From assembling the walls to piping icing like real pros, the focus and teamwork in the room were amazing. And yes, resisting the temptation to snack on the decorations was the hardest part!
After decorating, everyone wrapped their creations to take home and share during Christmas. It was rewarding to see participants admire and carefully pack their work.
After lunch, the day took a fun twist with acting and performance time. Participants showed off their creativity and confidence through role-play, expressions, and playful storytelling. The laughter and energy in the room were the perfect way to finish an already incredible day.
