Sweet Success: Peanut Butter Sandies Steal the Show at Beyond Fun!
There’s something magical about the smell of freshly baked cookies filling the air, and today at Beyond Fun, that magic was in full swing!
Our Wednesday cooking crew gathered in the kitchen for a fun and flavourful session making Peanut Butter Sandies. From measuring ingredients to rolling the dough into perfect little rounds, every step was filled with laughter, focus, and collaboration.
For many participants, it was a chance to explore new textures and techniques, learning how butter and sugar come together to create a soft, crumbly cookie that melts in your mouth. The group worked together beautifully, helping one another with the mixing, shaping, and, of course, the all-important taste testing!
As trays came out of the oven, the golden cookies disappeared almost as quickly as they cooled. The joy on everyone’s faces said it all: a perfect blend of learning, sharing, and sweet accomplishment.
